I spent almost the entire day in the kitchen today. It was enjoyable , but very long. I am finally finished with all the grape jelly... whew!!! It was a chore. I'm not sure how many jars I have total, I havn't counted yet but I know it's a bunch. In between batches of jelly I was making
the Amish Friendship bread that I didn't get around to making yesterday. I made twelve loaves. That ought to hold us for a while. Eleven are in the freezer and I sliced one loaf for us to enjoy now. As soon as I got everything finished and the mess cleaned up, it was time to start making supper. I had put some butter beans in the crock pot earlier so that was already on its way to being done. I mixed up some cornbread and got it in the oven while my daughter made some baked potatoes, then I put the steak on to cook and dinner was ready in no time. And now that
I'm quite exhaused, it's time for bed; but, before I leave you, I'll give you a quick tip.
If you are running late on dinner and hubby is expected home soon, go ahead and set the table; even though dinner is not yet ready , he will see that you are making an effort in having it ready soon. (Actually I read this in one of my favorite book series; Love Come Softly, I thought it was a pretty good tip!)

I'm sure you're glad to have all that jelly finally made. I made mine today. It turned out perfect & yummy!
Yes, I AM glad it's all done. Now it won't be long 'til it's time to pick grapes again....lol. I still have my strawberry I need to get done as well. Maybe sometime soon.
