I woke up this morning in a determined mood. I have of late been really slacking off on eating healthy and exercising. I really want to get back into my healthy lifestyle and lose this extra weight, get back into shape and feel better. Last night my daughter went running and said she was ready to get back into shape and it made me start thinking of how I'm so ready to get back into shape. I'm not going to over-do it though because then I would get burned out, so I'm going to take it one step at a time......"slow and steady wins the race". I got on the tread mill this morning and walked at a comfortable pace for about 15 minutes. Now I know that's not much right now, but I will build myself up as I go.
Today, I am going to dig out my cookbooks and work on creating a healthy menu that my family will love, and at the same time, won't comprimise our health. I will post the menu and perhaps some recipes later this week.

Good for you! Hopefully you will help inspire me! I would love to go on walks with Dailee but her stroller does not travel well on our rock road. Perhaps I should go to the track in Bremond.
